Product Description
Rabies vaccine is an inactivated vaccine that is used to prevent rabies in humans. The rabies vaccine is manufactured in two forms: inactivated (killed) vaccine and attenuated (weakened) vaccine. In India, the inactivated vaccine (IP) is used to prevent and treat rabies in humans. The inactivated vaccine contains a killed virus that is not able to cause infection but which stimulates the body to produce antibodies against the rabies virus. The inactivated vaccine is administered as an intramuscular injection in the deltoid muscle of the arm. The vaccine is usually given in three doses, with the second dose being given seven days after the first, and the third dose being given 21 days after the first. The vaccine should be given in the upper arm and not in the buttocks. Booster doses may be necessary if the person has been exposed to rabies or is at high risk of exposure.Enter Buying Requirement Details
